ONE MISSION—Here, Near and Far

Missions—here, near and far—isn’t just about money, but giving your heart and hands so we can impact our world—here, near and far—together!

HERE

In the past we’ve always had a clear line of separation from home missions and overseas missions, but in reality, there is only one mission—here, near and far.

It starts here, in the house.

The church building you worship and serve in each week, is supported by tithes and offerings. However, there are cost in certain seasons that exceed the general fund. You can give to special projects for the house.

  • Our speakers are 30 years old and need to be replace.
  • Main Street, our lobby, needs an update.
  • Finally, we will continue to reach out to those in our church through our benevolent fund providing care for those in need.

NEAR

Five people caught the mission and bought the serve truck. Now Lakeview can respond to emergencies. Last summer we had a big flood. We responded to people in need to help with the flood.

The home of a family that lived a mile away from the church flooded. We took sandwiches, hot coffee, jugs of water to them. The governor and Lakeview showed up. Gutted the house, put up new drywall and helped them put their house back together. That family now attends Lakeview.

FAR

US and global missions have always been a high priority for Lakeview. That will never change. We currently support more than 45 missionaries. We have partnered with another church to build a bible school in Cuba next year. We are planning two missions trips next year.
