King David was an obsessive “praiser” of God. He enjoyed God so much because he knew who God was and what God could do. David wrote in Psalm 34:1, “I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
David not only praised God a whole lot, but he would try to bring his friends into it too! Psalm 34:3 says, “Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together!”
The Jesus perspective says, “Come before Abba, Father and hallow His name. Praise His name! Thank Him and bless His name.
A good way to praise the name of God is to study the 99 Hebrew names of God. Each name identifies a different attribute of God.
If you visit Lakeview’s Prayer Tower, you’ll see the Hebrew and English names of God written around the header of the tower.
- Ne’eman V’Yashar – Faithful God
- Mel Eka Ha Melakhim Adonai – King of Kings, Lord of Lords
- Jehovah Saboath – Lord of Host

- El Roi – the God Who Sees

The Jesus perspective starts with praise and ends with praise.
