He Has What You Need—Every Time

I’ve had many occasions when I’ve ministered to someone in my office, and the things that came out of my mouth, I know they didn’t come from my intellect. They came from the Spirit’s wisdom. I’ve had people come back and say you, that changed my life! And the truth is, most of the time I don’t even remember saying it!

I’ve gone back and listened to sermons I’ve preached and thought, That’s awesome. I didn’t remember even saying it. “But when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand or premeditate what you will speak. But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.”[1]

The Holy Spirit gives us wisdom, knowledge, insight, understanding and power for each and every situation we can face in life.

If we are filled with the Spirit He will show us and give us what we need every time.

Isaiah 11:2-3 was written of Jesus, “but the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in us.”[2]

Listen to how the Spirit will work in us; “It is the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD. His delight is in the fear of the LORD, and He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, nor decide by the hearing of His ears.”[3]

I am convinced that all who live, filled with the Spirit, will have moments when they feel led to lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. They will have moments when they are moved by faith and see the miraculous hand of God in their situation or on behalf of another.
